Twigs' fantastic review in Juno Magazine!
I have always loved Juno - it was actually one of the magazines that made me realise that societal norms and expectations and patriarchy have a lot to answer for!
The idea for Twigs first occurred after I’d had my son as my view of the world and also my knowledge of alternative ways of living, as opposed to the status quo, was changing and expanding. This was due in part to Juno and The Green Parent magazines, meeting up with and reading about others who were seen as 'alternative' parents and also parenting a child who developed his own way, when he was ready.
I want to make sure the world remains a beautiful and diverse safe haven for all so that my son and others can continue to grow and live in contentment and happiness.
Twigs has brought me this chance to help others via the younger generation and be an activist in my own way.
